Cash Management Specialist
GENERAL FUNCTION OF POSITION: Provides direct support to the Cash Management Officer in all aspects of cash management sales and service, including, but not limited to, customer support, new customer enrollments, customer maintenance, prospect and sales tracking, report generation, file maintenance and assistance with marketing and product development efforts as well as risk management and compliance.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct support to all customers using cash management services (including remote deposit and online cash management services such as QuickBooks, wires, ACH, tax payments, bill pay). Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, research issues internally or with external vendors, as appropriate.
2. Responsible for new customer set-up and maintenance of cash management services, including preparation of enrollment documents, completion of customer set-up/maintenance forms, customer set-up in Insight as well as customer log-in, training and customer follow-up.
3. Maintain sales information for the incentive referral program.
4. Track all customer contact calls.
5. Develop and maintain department procedures.
6. Maintain customer ACH and Remote Deposit files and assist with routine matters in support of the Bank’s ACH and Remote Deposit programs.
7. Create management reports as needed.
8. Assist with product development efforts as requested, such as enhancement requests and product testing.
9. Assist with marketing efforts such as prospect follow-up letters, direct mail campaigns and branch promotions.
10. Assist with risk management and compliance related matters.
11. Act as a back-up to the Cash Management Officer.
12. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
The following skills, background, and experience are necessary (with or without accommodation) for this position.
1. Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, or related area, preferred.
2. Strong, well-developed interpersonal skills in order to develop a solid working relationship with current and potential commercial customers.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide a high-level of customer service with a pro-active approach to problem solving and good follow-through.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated proficiency with personal computer applications such as Word and Excel. Knowledge of Florence Savings Bank business deposit products and Insight experience, preferred. Experience with cash management applications such as wires, ACH and remote deposit, a plus.
6. Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
8. Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customer locations.
