Family Ties Restaurant
Owners Anita and Doug Shackett also own Audrey’s Cafe in Marlborough.
Family Ties Restaurant has soup specials – with a twist – every Thursday. The outside temperature displayed on Kapiloff Insurance Agency’s sign at 11a.m. (located next door to Family Ties) will be the price of a cup of soup
(with a meal) for that day. 10 degrees out? You got it, 10 cents for a cup of soup! If the temperature reads below zero out, then the soup is free. Family Ties serves lunch and dinner, seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Luca's Mediterranian Cafe
Luca’s Mediterranean Café opened its door on August 12, 2000 on Central Square in Keene, New Hampshire. Luca and Lindy had been given the chance to bring their own touch to the restaurant climate in downtown Keene. Their focus was on the ambiance the customers would experience. This would become their second home, and they wanted their guests to feel the same. From the original Mediterranean style art, to the candles on the tables, they were hoping to exude a warm feeling from the dining room to the restrooms. The second aspect they focused on was a menu that represented the true Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant would present dishes featuring the flavors of Italy, France, and Spain – although daily chef’s recommendations would reflect the cuisines of North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean, such as Morocco, Greece and Turkey.
