Effie’s Homemade Oatcakes doesn't rhyme with anything

“A cookie as a light and tasty snack” is what it said on the cover of the Effie's Homemade Oatcakes I purchased yesterday at the Hannah Grimes Marketplace. After I ate 6 in a row, I realized they probably mean light if you only eat one…or two (as two is the serving size). But I couldn’t help myself. Well actually I could because I helped myself to 6 of them. They are just plain good! And you don’t have to eat them plain either. Effie’s has some excellent recipes on their site, including the Perfect S’more, pictured above.
Effie’s Homemade offers Oatcakes, Nutcakes and Corncakes and as they say, “Effie’s is for people who love real food and crave homemade taste.” I agree, you were made for us at TBR!
